Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever says, when leaving his house, 'In the name of Allah; I rely on Allah; there is no might and no power except with Allah,' it will be said to him: 'You are guided, sufficed, and protected,' and the devil will turn away from him." Abu Dāwūd's narration adds: "Then a devil will say to another devil: 'How can you reach a man who has been guided, sufficed, and protected?'"
